The Sandy Lane Estate
The Sandy Lane Estate:
The estate close to the world renowned Sandy Lane Hotel is a highly desirable area in which to rent or buy property on Barbados. The estate now showcases a wide array of architecturally stunning villas and residences, and moreover some of the world's most iconic addresses, set in majestic, private and secure grounds.
Residents of properties on the Sandy Lane Estate benefit from reduced green fees when playing the meandering and demanding par 36, Old Nine Golf course which has been present on the estate since its conception in 1961.
Whilst many residents of the Sandy Lane Estate enjoy visiting the Sandy Lane Hotel (just as guests from many other parts of the island do), during peak times, such as over the Christmas festive period, access to leisure and dining facilities at the hotel is frequently restricted solely to resident guests of the hotel.
However, year round owners of property on the Sandy Lane estate enjoy unlimited access to the exclusive Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Association which provides use of the facilities adjoining the beach area of the Sandy Lane Hotel. Included is use of sun-loungers and refreshments are available on the beach. A select number of property owners also own beach cabanas. Three full size, flood lit tennis courts are also available for year round use of home owners/occupiers, with all proprietors having keys and lockers for the courts.
